  • Each plank is unique and up to 100 years old, which adds incredible strength and durability, while the naturally rich oils also help to preserve the timber.
  • Thick timber corner blocks and side rails have been used to secure legs on tables
  • Available in a light, natural finish, making it a truly versatile setting to match any colour scheme

Care Instructions:

  • It is recommended that you tighten the screws on tables and benches periodically.
  • To give extra protection against hot cups, plates etc and accidental spillages, it is always best to protect the beauty of your table with place mats.
  • All outdoor furniture products will keep their new appearance longer if they are protected from the elements when not in use.  Avoid leaving in direct weather for extended periods of time.

Timber General

  • For everyday cleaning, wipe over with a damp cloth.
  • Use a stiff brush to remove any dirt or debris
  • Do not use a silicone-based products on timber furniture, as it will cause a build-up of silicone on the product, which can discolour and dry out the timber
  • Wood is a natural product which can expand and shrink under different weather conditions. This may lead to micro fractures in the wood which is perfectly natural
  • We also recommend the use of Guardsman Outdoor Wood Protector which repels stains and protects against mildew.

Teak Care

  • To remove stubborn stains, sand with a fine grade of sandpaper making sure to work with the direction of the grain. You should not use much force. Afterwards, use a garden hose to rinse off the teak furniture with water, pat the wood dry with a towel and let the sun dry up any remaining moisture.  You may then seal it with a teak oil/sealer.
  • Undercover, Teak will weather naturally to a silver grey patina if left alone, which does not affect its durability or longevity if left undercover.  This grey patina can be removed by sanding the furniture (in the direction of the grain) and re-staining should you wish.
  • However, if left out in direct weather, the timber will need to be maintained to increase its longevity, we recommend regular oiling, with a teak oil or teak sealer to maintain your investment. These are normally applied once or twice a year, or as needed depending on your climate or outdoor conditions.
  • A teak sealer also helps prevent food stains or water marks appearing, however, your teak furniture can also be cleaned simply by scrubbing with warm soapy water followed by hosing down with water and being left to dry naturally.
